Needed a quick breakfast burrito fix and since I was in the area, I tried Los Jilberto's for the first time. It was a decently good size and the quality of taste was good. The steak breakfast burrito wasn't oily and had a good amount of everything. The service was pretty fast and quick. I got the order to go, but the inside has plenty of seatings and space.

During my 4 years at UCR, Jilberto's was always a late night staple. While it certainly isn't the best Mexican food I've ever had, the portions are always more than generous and the food is always good. Their self serve salsa bar is always a plus especially after covid shut down most of them. Probably gonna have to go at least a couple more times before I graduate but I'm gonna miss this place.

The food continues to be good. The prices have gone up a lot, such as a simple bean and cheese burrito is $ 9.99. I will still come here but a little high in price .

Had a burrito with rice, beans and carne asada . The price was $14.52. The burrito has some length but the burrito lacks thickness . In the photo shows the comparison of the thickness of the burrito to the ramekin . The burrito could have more rice or beans filled in the burrito for this price .

This was my spot when I was in college. When I met my wife, I took her here, and it reminded her of grandma's cooking. Over the years, we've visited and have brought our kids. To this day, whenever we're in the area, we stop by for a carne asada burrito or their Cali fries.

Came back to riverside to visit our old Alma mater and decided to visit old food spots we liked to eat. Lost Jilberto's was a must for the carne asada fries! Love a good late night visit back then and have some fries. Salsas are a must to eat with the fries if you want a slight kick in your bite. We also tried the chicken taquitos Those were alright. I would stick to the carne asada fries since they still tasted as good as I remember from our old college days. Good amount of meat and toppings.

The al pastor was super delicious! The fries were loaded with just the right amount of cheese and sour cream. The salsas were fresh and delicious. The restaurant was decorated nicely. The service was excellent. I'm definitely coming back to try other staples on the menu.

I've been going to Los Jilberto's for the past 10 years and it always has good late-night Mexican food for those days when you just have to have a burrito or a good taco! Food: Today I wanted something simple so I stuck to the bean and cheese burrito. It was as good as always. It was pretty filling and overall I was satisfied. I also got an agua de horchata. The agua was kinda sweet for my taste but again overall I still thought it was ok because it was balanced by the savory of the burrito. The prices in the whole menu have gone up in the last few years so beware of that if you haven't been here in a while. Service: Pretty good still. The cashier handles most of the work in the front so be mindful of that if it's a busy day. They don't have too many people working. The salsa bar is only touched by the cashier so let them know what you want and they will help you. It is not open like before. Other: They do catering and have some good inside and outside seating !
